Journal entry 1

following week number one i feel ok. i am still focused on setting the stage for success rather than actually performing. this is what gets me sometimes. action is key and most of the other stuff is simply me procrastinating.
two things of significance at this point:
1. i have just moved off a business high cycle- brought in about 1 million of new assets over the last 90 days. Its a tough number for me to beat and my weeks over that time were consumed with meeting after meeting.
2. i am in a relationship with a beautiful woman who is living with me.

I need to be concious of how i am spending my time and keep my priorities straight. Maria and i are growing together. We have had our moments and i am learning how she can help me improve myself and my relationships with others. she is simply a mirrior, reflecting my own image.

A few wins for the last week
- got quoted on the front page of the business section of the buffalo news monday
- squared up with the fed regarding taxes
- have eliminated white sugar/sweets from the diet since day one of the game
- working out almost daily
- finished zorba the greek
- almost finished with _b_link__
- had a very strong connection with maria on friday

Constantly re-working my routine and organizational habits..

its like i continue to look for the secret formula for daily success. fine-tuning the engine again and again.

its more like procrastination.

when i am not moving and not in the flow i think about how to get back in the flow and write about it but i hardly take action.

the key to success is taking action. its doing it now.

the last 3 months i was in the flow, the zone. Life was good. i felt like this was the way it would be from now on. i was wrong. i was living a dream. i was feeding off work done months in advance. i need to learn to not only swim but paddle all the time.

so back to the re-work. some of my more committable goals are thus:
1. 1000 prosecting calls
2. 10 books
3. 25 annualized income produced.
4. say i love you to everyone i know at least once
5. do alot of fun stuff
